Little Signals
Little Signals is a series about the small things children do before a feeling gets big — the hovering at the door, the sudden silence, the wobble on the way to school.
Each book takes one of those moments and stays with it. There's no moral at the end and nobody learns a lesson. The child in the story is not fixed, because they were never broken.
The stories are written for ages 4 to 8 and read aloud in about five minutes. Alongside them sit the activity books — Draw, Colour and Notice, At School, Out and About — for children who'd rather do something with their hands than be talked to.
Every title works on its own. You don't need to read them in order.
